Health Centre

The Occupational Health Unit provides a private Travel Health Service offering assessment, advice and vaccinations for travellers on an appointment only basis. Charges apply.

Manchester Airport NHS Walk in Centre

The NHS nurse led service provides free consultaions to eligible patients, treatments for minor injuries and illnesses, health information and advice. Please note that no prescribing or vaccinations are available.

Appointments are not required. The centre is open daily from 07.00 - 22.00. Outside of these hours The Emergency Nursing Officer will provide emergency first aid services for staff and passengers.

Terminal 1 - Departures
Bureaux de Change	Two Bureaux de Change. Currency Exchange and Travelex, for all your currency needs and latest exchange rates. Full banking service: Co-op Bank.
Cash Dispensers	Go to Arrivals. Barclays, Link and NatWest in main concourse accept most cards.
Children's Play Area	There is a dedicated area that offers a chance for young children to play or watch TV in a special children's area. Located in the departure lounge in Terminal 1 and open 24 hours a day. Children must be supervised by parents at all times.
Information Desk	The main information desk is located in Arrivals. Courtesy phones link passengers directly to the information desk, look for the blue phones. There is an information desk after security in the departures area.
Internet	Passengers can gain wireless access to the internet via their laptop or PDA from cafés and seating areas across all three terminals. It also provides free access to the Manchester Airport website.
Left Luggage	On Arrivals level in corridor to Airtours check-in. Also deals with lost and found property. Open 06:00-22:00, £5 per item per 24 hours.
Luggage Trolleys	Plentiful and free on the lower level Arrivals floor and on the terminal forecourt.
Pay Phones	In catering and shopping areas.
Places of Worship	Open 24 hours a day they provide a place for quiet contemplation and prayer. The prayer room that serves Terminal 1 and 3 is located in the walkway between both terminals.
Postal Services	Post box before Security Control. Nearest Post Office in Arrivals.
Restaurants & Bars	All food and drink outlets are now located on the mezzanine level with good choice and excellent views of the airport.
Shopping	A reasonable selection of outlets is available selling leisure wear, gifts, confectionery and books.
Smoking	Smoking is allowed at Meeting Points and in some seated areas of lounges.
Toilets	Before passport control there are four toilet facilities. Baby change rooms are located in the women's toilet in the shopping area and also in the food concourse. Most toilets have disabled facilities. After passport control there are two toilets, one with disabled and both with baby care facilities.

Terminal 1 - Arrivals
Bureau de Change	Two Bureau de Change, Currency Exchange and Travelex/Post Office.
Buses	Bus service to Manchester city and other destinations leaves from Terminal 1 International Arrivals. Access from mezzanine floor.
Car Hire	Major companies located opposite terminal under the multi-storey car park.
Cash Dispensers	Near steps to mezzanine level. Barclays, Link and NatWest machines cover most cards.
Food and Drink	There is a Burger King and a Café Select in the Arrivals concourse.
Hotel Reservations	Tourist Information Centre and First Option.
Information Desk	In Arrivals Hall and BA Terminal Arrivals.

Meeting Point	There is a large meeting point in the arrivals area in front of WH Smiths.
Pay Phones	Available in public lounge near exits. Free blue phones provided for airport information service.
Postal Services	A Post Office/Travelex is available next to the Information desk.
Shopping	Hairdresser catering for men, women and children.
Smoking	Smoking is allowed at Meeting Points and in some seated areas of lounges.
Taxi	On the forecourt.
Toilets	Facilities with disabled and baby care needs are provided in the baggage reclaim area and at the end of the Arrivals lounge.
Train	Access to walkway linking Terminal 1 with the Rail Station and Terminal 2 is from the mezzanine floor. Note - there is no longer a courtesy bus service to the Rail Station or Terminal 2.

Terminal 1 - Airside
Bureaux de Change	One Bureaux de Change, Travelex open from first flight to last flight located next to the security control area.
Entertainment	Video games are available in the Departures Lounge after Security Control.
Food and Drink	After passport control is a small range of food and beverage outlets.
Pay Phones	Throughout the lounge.
Postal Services	None Airside - mail letters before clearing security and passport control.
Smoking	Smoking is allowed in some seated areas of lounges.
Toilets	Two toilet areas - one near the Veranda Cafe Bar, the other behind Tsunami.
